Designed for children ages 6-8, this class introduces the foundations of ballet in a structured yet fun way. Students will build strength, grace, and musicality through barre work, center exercises, and across-the-floor combinations. The focus is on developing proper technique while fostering a love for movement. Open to all levels, this class provides a supportive and engaging environment where young dancers can grow in confidence and skill.

Janine Wallimann
Schule: Braswell Arts Center

Janine Wallimann is a certified ballet teacher with over 25 years of experience. She teaches at Braswell Arts Center Basel, New Dance Academy Bern, and Ballet Center Zürich. Trained at TAZ Zürich and the Royal Academy of Dancing, she has also worked as a dancer at the Opernhaus Erfurt and Zürich. Janine is certified in Pilates, partner dance, and children’s dance education, and has led dance and music programs in Zürich Kitas.
